Project-Based

When you need a creative lead, not just a pair of hands. You're building something from scratch: a new event brand, a product identity, a sub-brand for a division or conference. This is where we take creative ownership, make strategic decisions, and deliver something complete.

What this could look like:

  • Building a new brand or identity from scratch
  • Extending an existing brand into a new division, product, or event
  • Any defined creative scope where you need strategic leadership and a complete deliverable

Ideal for:
Organizations launching something new that needs its own distinct identity, and a creative team with the experience to build it right the first time.

On -Demand

When you need reliable execution, fast. Your brand is established. Your standards are set. Now you need someone who can work within them and get projects done quickly and without a lot of oversight. We fit into your existing workflow, follow your guidelines, and get the work out the door.

What this could look like:

  • Producing collateral, assets, or campaign materials within an existing brand
  • Filling a capacity gap when your team is stretched or a deadline is tight
  • Any defined creative scope where you need strategic leadership and a complete deliverable

Ideal for:
Teams that need an extra pair of skilled hands. Not someone to figure out the brand, but someone who can hit the ground running with it.

Visual Wingman

When you always have work and want a partner who's already up to speed. If your team is regularly producing event graphics, collateral, social assets, presentations, and campaign materials, you need a team that already knows your brand, your standards, and your pace. Visual Wingman is a dedicated monthly retainer, giving you a reliable creative partner who always shows up ready to get to work.

20 Hours/Month: Steady Stream

  • For teams with a consistent but manageable flow of ongoing design needs.
  • Ideal for organizations with regular but predictable output requirements.

40 Hours/Month: Embedded Partner

  • For teams running larger campaigns or juggling multiple initiatives at once.
  • Functions more like an embedded creative resource than an outside vendor.

Custom: Built Around You
If neither tier fits, we'll build something that does.
Let's talk.

All Visual Wingman engagements include a quarterly brand alignment check-in and a minimum three month commitment. Unused hours don't roll over. Overages are billed at your agreed retainer rate, and we'll always flag it before we go over.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

/01
How do we get started?
eye-1eye-2

Every new engagement starts with a conversation. First we want to understand your brand, your team, and what you’re trying to accomplish. Then we’ll recommend the working model that makes the most sense. Reach out and we’ll take it from there.

/02
How quickly can you be up to speed on our brand?
eye-1eye-2

Faster than you’d expect. We’ve spent our careers working inside large brand systems, so learning new ones quickly is something we do well. For project-based and on-demand work we need your brand guidelines and a brief kickoff conversation to get moving. For Visual Wingman clients, the first month is deliberately collaborative so we can get fully immersed — after that, most clients tell us it feels like we’ve been part of their team for years.

/03
We have an in-house creative team. How do you work alongside them?
eye-1eye-2

Comfortably and without ego. We function as an extension of your team, not a replacement for it. We follow your lead on brand standards, communicate the way your team communicates, and we’re just as happy taking direction as we are working independently. Think of us as the extra capacity your team wishes it had.

/04
What happens if we don’t use all of our Visual Wingman hours in a month?
eye-1eye-2

Your hours are reserved exclusively for your team each month, so we’d encourage you to use them. Unused hours don’t roll over, but in our experience, clients with a steady pipeline of work rarely find themselves with hours left on the table. If you’re consistently underusing your allocation we’ll have an honest conversation about whether a different tier is a better fit.

/05
Can we scale our hours up or down as our needs change?
eye-1eye-2

Yes, with 30 days notice. We build our capacity around our Visual Wingman clients so we ask for a heads up before changing tiers. We also ask for a minimum three month commitment at the start. It takes time to get into a real rhythm and we want you to see the full value of the relationship before evaluating it.

/06
What if we have a big push that exceeds our monthly hours?
eye-1eye-2

It happens and we plan for it. Overages are billed at your agreed retainer rate and we’ll always flag it before we go over so there are no surprises on your invoice. If you know a big push is coming, give us a heads up and we’ll plan accordingly.

/07
What if we don’t have a marketing team or in-house design expertise?
eye-1eye-2

You don’t need one to work with us. We’re used to partnering with whoever owns the design need: a marketing director, an operations manager, a show director, or a general service contractor coordinating a big event. We’ll ask the right questions to understand what you’re trying to accomplish, and guide the process from there.

/08
Do you work with our existing brand guidelines?
eye-1eye-2

Do you work with our existing brand guidelines? Absolutely! This is where a lot of our work lives. Most enterprise clients come to us with established brands that need to be executed well, extended into new formats, or applied to new sub-brands and events. Hand us your guidelines and we’ll follow them as closely as your own team would. If we spot inconsistencies or gaps along the way, we’ll flag them.

/09
Who will we actually be working with?
eye-1eye-2

You’ll work directly with our senior team, the same people who built Bluecap and have been doing this work for large organizations for years. We don’t hand clients off to junior staff once the relationship is established. Consistency matters, and you’ll have a dedicated point of contact who knows your brand and shows up the same way every month.
